The Debian and Ubuntu release is designed for institutions such as schools and universities which typically require a high number of concurrent users. The included BarracudaDrive Ubuntu startup script configures BaracudaDrive to allow up to 2000 simultaneous socket connections,sufficient for most high end users.
The Ubuntu release is designed for experienced Linux administrators. You must have root access in order to install BarracudaDrive as a UNIX daemon.

Automatic Installation or Upgrade:
wget barracudadrive.com/install/BarracudaDrive.linux.install;chmod +x BarracudaDrive.linux.install;sudo ./BarracudaDrive.linux.install
Manual Installation Instructions:
- Download BarracudaDrive for x86 32-bit or BarracudaDrive for x86 64-bit
- Unpack the tar file in a temporary location and read the readme file
- Install BD as a daemon as explained in the readme file
- Start a browser and navigate to http://address-to-server/setup/
